E-mails from Moodle issue

UPDATE: E-mail coming from Moodle should now be working as intended. This issue was resolved last night (2/21).

We are currently experiencing an issue with email sent from Moodle not being delivered. Technicians are working to resolve it. All emails sent during this time are being queued and will be delivered once this issue is fixed. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

2/16/2024 UPDATE: Mail from Moodle is now being delivered, including the queued messages.  Unfortunately, the messages are being identified as SPAM. Technicians are continuing to work on this issue.

E-mails from Moodle are being marked as spam

UPDATE: E-mail coming from Moodle should now be working as intended. This issue was resolved last night (1/31).

Google is tightening security on spam which has impacted emails sent from within Moodle. Currently, these emails are being identified as spam and quarantined in the Spam folder. 

IT is aware of the issue and working to whitelist these emails. An update will be posted when the work is complete.

 

REMINDER: Moodle upgrade tomorrow (1/3) from 9-1 pm

On Wednesday, 3 January 2024 between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Information Technology will be upgrading Moodle to version 4.1. Updates and further details are available on the status blog at https://status.emu.edu/2023/12/12/scheduled-moodle-upgrade/

Moodle will be unavailable during the upgrade.
