We have upgraded EMU’s Moodle to version 2.7. This release brings new features and fixes.
Highlights of the new features include:
-
We have updated the EMU Moodle theme. The new theme improves compatibility with new Moodle assignments and with mobile devices.
-
We have updated the Turnitin assignment plug-in (link to updated FAQ). Turnitin now integrates directly and transparently with Moodle.
-
Moodle developers are strongly discouraging legacy “version 2.2” assignments. We have upgraded all assignments to the latest version. You may still edit and grade “version 2.2” assignments but you may no longer create assignments of that version.
For more details about Moodle 2.7 please refer to the new features tour or the version release notes. (Note that we have disabled Moodle’s new “Atto” editor because it does not yet support MediaCore.)
There are also a series of videos that describe new version 2.7 features.
