Module 8a Activity

In the Module 8a and 8b slides, I gave an example of a research question that investigates the relationship between a dichotomous independent variable (Mountain State Graduates vs Overall Population) and a continuous/quantitative dependent variable (annual income in dollars). This research question can be investigated with a one-sample z-test or t-test. State your own hypothetical research question that would seek to investigate the relationship between a dichotomous independent/exploratory variable (a group compared to overall population value) and a continuous/quantitative dependent/response variable.  

My example: Do Mountain State graduates on average, make more money that the national median annual income?
