Suggested events

This is the email  request for ideas:

I'd like to invite you (faculty and staff) to submit a proposal to host a spring TGIW.   You might want to facilitate conversation about an article, a short story, a poem, song, or maybe continue a conversation already started by an event/ performance on campus.

 The guidelines for proposals:

 a) choose something that you found transformative or interesting that you can share with the campus.

b) list a few questions that you'd use to get discussion going.

c) email me with your proposal and a month that would best suit you.

The intellectual life committee will choose from among the proposals and will notify you in November after our meeting.  A few clarifications, we're not looking for long presentations, simply something to focus and start conversation.  Our plan is to keep one Wednesday a month open.

Please email me with your proposals by October 19.
